Explore new musical moments with violinist Lynda O'Connor, one of Ireland's most outstanding young artists who has attracted widespread critical acclaim for her technical and musical accomplishments, and who has been the recipient of numerous awards and prizes, and with Dallas clarinetist Brent Buemi, who performs with Voices of Change, modern music ensemble and for The Wagner Society and Pro Musica. They will join renowned pianist Jo Boatright in the performance of " Four Pieces for Clarinet and Piano, Op 5" by Alban Berg, "Sonata in a Major for Violin and Piano" by César Franck , and "L' histoire du Soldat" (The Soldier's Tale) (1918) by Igor Stravinsky with Allen Lane, narrator from New York City. A special concert with special musicians.There will be an informance at 2 :00pm. Tickets are $15 (adult) and $8 (student), and may be purchased at the SteamPlant Theater, at the Salida and Buena Vista Chambers of Commerce as well as at the door prior to the performance.
