| Joyce Yang, 21-year-old Korean pianist, opens the 31st annual concert series. She won the silver medal at the 2005 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. She has already played with the Chicago Symphony, New York Philharmonic and Philadelphia Orchestra and has made recordings.
July-August Salida Aspen Concerts are performed in Salida and Buena Vista by students and faculty of the world acclaimed Aspen Music Festival and School. The Salida-Aspen partnership, in its 31st season, has developed a tradition of fine music in Central Colorado.
