The renowned Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band brings the raw energy of the dancehalls of southwest Louisiana to the stage. Without peer, the band features the greatest Cajun accordionist and fiddle player of their generation MARC SAVOY and MICHAEL DOUCET . The trio is rounded out by 2006 Grammy nominee ANN SAVOY who brings a mix of almost girlish joie de vivre and passionate soul.

Michael Doucet, Ann Savoy and Marc Savoy will talk about their unique heritage and music, its history, and will demonstrate several styles of the music.
6:30 – CAJUN DANCE INSTRUCTION – ARKANSAS VALLEY MUSIC & DANCE
8:00 - SAVOY-DOUCET PERFORMANCE
All events at Festival Grounds: Take HWY 291 (also named First Street and Oak Street) to County Road 156(one-way ), turn left at the stop sign and follow the signs. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket. We serve beer and wine and other concessions. Plenty of cool drinking water provided. No alcohol or dogs allowed.
