| Recently inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame, Eliza's 2004 album Land of Milk & Honey was nominated for a Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album. She just won the 2006 Folk Alliance Awards for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Solo Artist of the Year, and Contemporary Artist of the Year as well as the Austin Chronicle Music Awards 2006 for Album of the Year & Best Female Vocalist. Gilkyson's voice and songwriting have incredible range and sweep along her own beauty way from the whimsical to the poetic.
