Several of Chaffee County's infamous Madams have returned from the dead and are having a little gathering upstairs at the Heritage Museum. Meet Cockeyed Liz and Belle Brown from BV, Laura Evens from Salida, Lillian Powers of Florence and some of “the girls.” They invite you to come and learn about what it was like to be a “soiled dove” in the late 1800’s. Educational and historical, this presentation has adult content but is very tastefully done with no foul language. Not recommended for young children. Tickets are $15 per person, $12 for members, and are available in advance at the Salida Chamber, Buena Vista Chamber and BV Heritage Museum. |
